Uddhav Thackeray on PM's Shivaji statue collapse apology: Smacked of arrogance
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray charged at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the latter's apology on the collapse of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's statue in Maharashtra's Sindhudurg, claiming that it 'smacked of arrogance'. Uddhav Thackeray and other senior leaders of the opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) took out a massive rally from the iconic Hutatma Chowk to Gateway of India in South Mumbai on Sunday. Addressing a gathering at Gateway of India, where the protest march culminated, Thackeray asserted that the people of Maharashtra will never forgive the insult to the legendary warrior king.
